GIVING

Giving is a regular principle taught throughout Scripture, but one that comes down to what Paul wrote to the church in Corinth:

"Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Whether you follow a set "tithe", or simply give out the abundance of your heart, we actually are demonstrating an act of worship and faith when we give to the Lord's work. The amazing thing about giving through to and through the local church is that your gift can make a real difference locally, regionally, and around the world!

There are several ways to contribute to the work of First Baptist Church. The most traditional means is by placing your offering via check or cash in an offering envelope and placing in the offering plate during a regular church assembly. You may also mail your gift to the church's secure mail box (P.O. Box 175, Cave Springs, Arkansas 72718), or now through electronic giving!

When giving, you have the option to give to the overall work of the church via the "General Fund", or you may choose specific targeted giving that covers a wide variety of ministry. Contributions also go to help fund missions work locally, across the state, the US, and around the world!
